Confused?

htc ftw

Just ran the HTC 2150mAh for the TP2 and guess what, it weighed in at 2150mAh. Right on the nose. 100%, had to put that in bold on the table. So in addition to having one more battery on the table, we've got a gold standard (?) set further affirming that the 250mA/3.5V is not only good for having a standard but it is indeed the right standard to use for all batteries.

Wade's tp2 2150 oem is on its way back to him. Tomorrow I send Steve his 2400 which is doing a third run now and also send Jeremy's Mugen back so he can finally collect his refund.

Wade confirmed receipt of his TP2 oem 2150 and I just dropped off Steve's Cameron's Dino 2400 along with Jeremy's Mugen which is headed back to Mugen who will hopefully finally hand him over his ludicrously long-overdue refund.

this post falls under the "Can't believe I registered just to say this" category:

THANK YOU

Now the wait begins for a (same size) AND better battery than 1500mAh since I find this much too small for my new HTC Desire.

Btw, you seem to have configured the mail sending apparatus wrong, there was no sender specified so google wasn't too fond of your activation mail.

Thanks for the hard work Doug.

Just one question - where do I buy the Cameron Sino battery for my Nexus One rated at ~2500mAh in the US?

I can't find it on ebay or Amazon (only UK) at all >_<

Hero 3200

Postby doug » Mon Jun 07, 2010 9:13 am

Just ran test number one of a no name 3200 for the Hero courtesy of Dan Mason. Poor. Gonna run it a few more times.

On deck is the stock OEM 1300 for the Incredible thanks to Jasper Williams. Think I should run stocks of each phone before I start plugging the site and data on forums for those respective devices, but I'm itching to tap into the Incredible crowd and we'll soon get to do that.

Warning -- seller I linked may be selling crap batteries

Postby doug » Wed Jun 09, 2010 6:07 pm

I've received two complaints that the ebay seller for the TP2 OEM 1500mAh which performed well when I ran it sold them used/DOA batteries. If any of you bought the battery from this guy too and are at all suspicious that it isn't legit please let me know. This may not have been just two innocent mistakes, and if that's the case I want to shut him down and to do that I need your help.

To any of you who got screwed, I'm sorry. This sucks. Damnit.

dont worry about it doug, you cant expect everyone to be on the up and up when the competition is selling batteries at a 1/4 of the price you want... sometimes they just succumb to the mighty dollar. your still helping people more than your hurting them, beleive dat

Yeah, I know.. thanks. But it just doesn't make sense to me. He had a good thing going. Sold a good battery that people wanted for a pretty good -- though I assume still profitable (?) -- price, we spot him, I run the battery and it showed good results, his ebay page gets a link on my site, I send him business (by the way I get no kickbacks from any of these guys, for the record) and then he fucks it up for himself by screwing over some of my visitors. I didn't see this coming, not from a fellow New Yorker. Ahh..

Anyway, Dan and Jasper, your batteries are in the mail. I'll email you the tracking numbers. To thank you one more time, I appreciate your lending me them, big help etc.

Waiting for an EVO 4G stock and another Mugen. Need to give my TP2 to my ol' lady so I ordered a standalone charger (thanks again for hitting me with the link, I was about to give up and solder up something crazy with an old Fuze). Once I run the EVO stock, well, that will be good. Lot of people getting that phone, lot of them pissed about poor battery life, lot of them wondering if some AMZER 1800 battery will solve their problems (it won't but I'll go through the motions anyway). And the Mugen, marketed toward Hero owners, that will give me an opportunity either to rub their faces in their lies more or, alternatively if they turned over a new leaf, to put a happy spotlight on them. The damn thing costs like eighty bucks. That's robbery if the battery doesn't live up to its claim by 20%. We'll see.
